Did you know... Our church is a Faith Partner with East Bay / Silicon Valley Habitat for Humanity.  In the past we have housed many of their college-age volunteer groups at our church while they worked on building/renovating homes in nearby areas.  This year they are working primarily in the Livermore area, but will also be doing some projects in Berkeley and Walnut Creek.  If you are interested in helping with any of their work, they always welcome individual volunteers, for short-term commitments.  You would need to sign up on their website  www.HabitatEBSV.org.  There is a wealth of information on this site.  Take a look at what they are doing to help family neighbors have a home of their own.  If you enjoy building / construction work, this might be just the opportunity you would like to help with.  Come serve!
